JOHN
HARRIGAN

John Harrigan is a director, writer and producer with a diverse portfolio of work spanning film, immersive theatre, art and gaming. 

John's work has been showcased at renowned venues like the Institute of Contemporary Arts, Arcola Theatre, Horse Hospital, and Birmingham Rep. He has also spoken and lectured at prestigious institutions such as the Royal College of Art, the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and the Birmingham Screen and Film School.

In 2021, John was honoured with the Best Director award at the New York Festival of Cinema and in 2023 he was invited to join BAFTA as a Connect member, in recognition of his contribution to the film industry to date. His diverse list of clients includes the BBC, Wilderness Festival, Secret Cinema, and the BFI. 

John's objective is to create meaningful connections between spectators and performers, transcending the limitations of traditional art forms. His work is layered and multi-dimensional, encompassing a range of emotions and experiences that resonate with audiences by focusing on the innate power of storytelling.

John lives in Hertfordshire with his wife, three children, and three cats.
